Clock-in failed: face, GPS, or Wi-Fi
Work through camera permission, location, allowed Wi-Fi, and face re-enrollment.
Updated 2026-08-28
A failed clock-in is usually a security check your company enabled: face verification, GPS geo-fence, or allowed Wi-Fi. Fix the check that matches the error on screen.
Face verification
- Allow camera permission for Attend Mitra in Android settings.
- Use even lighting and hold the phone at eye level. Avoid hats or heavy glare.
- If you recently changed appearance or never enrolled, ask a manager to approve a face re-enroll request and give you the time-limited code.
GPS geo-fence
- Turn on Location for the app. High-accuracy / GPS should be on.
- Stand at the work site your company configured — clock-in outside the fence is rejected.
- Wait a few seconds for a fresh location fix, especially indoors.
Wi-Fi / IP check
- Connect to the office Wi-Fi, not mobile data or a personal hotspot.
- If you are on the right network and still fail, a manager should confirm the allowed IPs under Attendance Security.
Managers: override and logs
- Open Attendance to review the log and adjust an entry if your role allows it.
- Open Attendance Security to confirm which checks are actually enabled for your plan.
- For a one-off exception, use the override-code flow your company configured. Codes can be emailed when that option is on.
